The Open Beta of Avalon Heroes has just ended, so let's cheer for all Heroes of Oriens and Aeonia who have fought for honor and glory in the names of their factions. Countless matches have been fought and now, all Heroes can lean back and relax... but just for a couple of days!

The Open Beta of Avalon Heroes draws to a close and right before the end on February 3, the ESL will host a second OBT Cup! 16 teams will be allowed to join in and the rewards include free months of ESL Premium membership. Grab a friend, sign up on February 1 and dominate the grid!

The Open Beta of Avalon Heroes has been extended until February 3 - and in addition to +50% Kin EXP and +50% SP, you will now get +25% Aron when you're beating your opponents. The countdown is on: Will you earn enough Aron to buy and play all Heroes in time?

The first ESL OBT Cup has successfully been fought out yesterday and we congratulate the winners from Team Kawaii on their very first Avalon Heroes victory. Don't have an ESL account yet? You should better get one as the OBT Cup was just the beginning...

A maximum of 16 teams was allowed to enter and between 7 an 10:30pm CET, they fought on the side of Oriens and Aeonia for honor, glory and a few nice rewards which every participant will get after the end of the Open Beta.

It's time for a great weekend in Avalon Heroes with exciting battles, Heroes and great challenges. Use the weekend to prepare yourselves for the first ESL 2on2 OBT Cup! Get an ESL account, sign up on January 18 and participate in the first exclusive cup on Tuesday, January 19.

You think you're ready for the 2on2 ESL OBT Cup? Read the news on the European ESL website, grab a friend, sign up at the ESL for free and don't miss your chance to get a Hero of choice at the start of the regular game service after the Open Beta.

In the 2on2 OBT Cup, Battle Mode matches will be carried out on the Gemini Cross map. The best team of two players will win a free Hero of choice (except MOON and ARC) including full BP and 250 SP which will be added to their accounts at the beginning of the regular service.

How can I join the Open Beta of Avalon Heroes?
All you need is a free alaplaya account. In case you don't have one yet, just click here to sign up for free.

Why can't I log in to the game?
If you get an error messsage saying your account does not exist, please close the game, log in to the alaplaya website and try again. Once you have logged in to the website, your ID will be transferred to the game's database and you can log in.

In rare cases, an error message saying your password is incorrect may show up. In that case, please change your password on the alaplaya website in the section "MY PROFILE" - "EDIT MY PROFILE" - "Security Settings".

Known issues

• Please click here to find out more if you have a problem with AntiVir and Avalon Heroes
• Make sure your graphic card driver is updated if you experience problems related to the graphics
• When you browse through the Help section of the game, many links and terms are currently not correctly connected which may lead to some rather funny results. We are working on this issue
• If you are playing Avalon Heroes via a WLAN connection, you may get a disconnect if the connection is not stable. Please note that this is a general issue with all online games and it is not related to Avalon Heroes

How to change the game's settings

Exiting the game and changing the settings can be done in the System Menu. You can access it by clicking on the small monitor at the bottom right side of the screen:



Here you can change the game options (hotkey: O) including gameplay, control options, hotkeys, graphics and sound.

A patch has been applied to the game today which includes some minor language fixes. There was no need to take the servers offline in order to apply this patch, so please restart your game when you're not in the middle of an exciting fight to get the patch.

• When you first entered the game, the message telling you to create a Kin in order to fight for honor and glory has been corrected. It now says:
   
  "Welcome to the world of [Avalon Heroes].
  When you first enter the game, you must create a [Kin] of your own. You will fight for the honor and glory of your [Kin] in Avalon Heroes.
  Please create a new [Kin]."
   
• The "EVENT" button in the upper left corner in the lobby that shows you which events are currently applied to the game has been translated:

• In the very rare case of a client crash, you will now get a proper English error message instead of a Korean one

Known Issue With AntiVir

Depending on their settings, players who use AntiVir may get a virus / trojan alert for the following file:

• File: avaclient.exe
• Trojan: TR/Crypt.TPM.Gen

We are in contact with AntiVir in order to solve this problem. There is no trojan hidden in the avaclient.exe file and we will figure out together with AntiVir how the detection rule for the file's properties can be changed.

The Open Beta starts on Tuesday, January 12 and it will last around 10 to a maximum of 14 days. After the end of the Open Beta, all character data will again be wiped, so you'll have a fresh start at the beginning of the regular game service in February!

Client Download

Please click on the picture below to download the client. Make sure your browser does not block pop-up windows. You will be able to download the client via our Akamai download manager, a verified small tool that allows you to download at an optimized speed. You will need to accept the terms for using the tool before you can download the client.
